Versatile stamping ink for non-porous surfaces, very similar to the ink R 9 but specially developed for use with photo polymer stamps

Properties:
This ink dries more slowly than R 9 and should be used only for non-absorbent surfaces because the ink tends to spread too much on porous surfaces.

Application:
We recommend this translucent 990 stamping ink for marking all materials such as high gloss brochures, metal and plastic foils, painted metal plates and wood as well as unpainted aluminum. However, the ink is also suitable for various types of rubber and plastics when the drying time does not play a decisive role. Dark surfaces can also be marked with the pigmented colors yellow and white, because they have a far higher covering capacity.

Drying time:
~7-9 min (sheet metal)

Viscosity:
low viscosity, ~15 sec
(Ford 4mm cup)

Stamp material:
photo polymers, rubber or metal

Stamp pad material:
We recommend our special Mark II pad for keeping the ink moist for stamping for a long period without drying out.
However felt plate pads, felt rollers, foam rubber rollers or the SOLI plate pads can also be used.
